Atlas accelerates the design, development, and deployment cycle for hardware
Atlas RF Studio is now in Beta! Learn more at Research.
Overview
I've just loaded your project into the session. You can find all your project files in the File Explorer on the right, and I've opened the schematic for you as well. To get started, you can ask Atlas any question about this project.
Flight Report
Flight Status: Crash
Key Findings:
- Two batteries installed: Battery 1 = supplying power, Battery 2 = CAN-only (communication but no power delivery)
- After restart (~14:51 UTC): Battery 2 jumped from 22% to 94% SoC and froze, Battery 1 kept draining to 0%
- Battery 2 logs: 0mA, mAh=0, cell mV includes 65535 (invalid), rem=94%
- CAN proof: Battery 2 locked at 23.41V for ~171k messages, 0 variance
- End sequence: Timeout + Running→Critical (15:05:02), last CAN (15:07:13), last log (15:07:21), crash
Critical Issues Identified:
- Discharge FETs disabled on Battery 2: Telemetry OK, power path dead
- SoC averaging hid depletion: Reported ~47%, actual 0% available once Battery 1 emptied
- Missing safeguards: No alerts for 0mA under load and stuck voltage anomalies
Recommendations:
- Immediate inspect/load-test Battery 2 (FETs + gate drivers) to confirm no-discharge failure
- Immediate review IFB behavior — why 94% SoC after restart while discharge stayed disabled
- Software alert on 0mA under load, 0 voltage variance ≥60s, SoC delta >30%; trigger critical/abort
- Algorithm replace averaging with min SoC / availability-weighted; treat 0mA = unavailable
- Ops pre-flight spool-up check — both batteries must show current draw; show per-battery metrics

Applications
Our customers move faster with Atlas. Atlas elevates every engineer across the hardware lifecycle with agentic workflows.
Debug system failures in minutes
- Dump logs, telemetry, and test data into Atlas and generate a report in quasi real-time.
- Monitor all system data to surface hidden cross-domain issues.
Customer Impact: 6 hrs → 15 mins Faster time to root cause
Cut board verification and testing time in half
- Run workflows to validate designs after each revision and generate functional and end-of-line test plans for your entire board.
- Transform static schematics into an interactive environment — click any net or component to surface its datasheet instantly.
Customer Impact: 8 → 1/2 Reduce number of board spins
Optimize system performance - autonomously
- Point at any closed-loop hardware system and click "go".
- System-agnostic engine designs its own experiments and best guesses.
Customer Impact: +3% perf / watt 12 weeks faster time to market
Reasoning
Hardware engineering is deterministic, not probabilistic. Atlas pairs general intelligence with deterministic models of your hardware, deep-physics integrations, and access to design, simulation and test tools.
